Klara Stories

Klara created a poem:

Baby-bel cheeses are yummy
But nothing's as sweet as my Mommy.

Another funny, if a tad disturbing, story about Klara:

Klara asks, “Did God put me in your tummy because he wanted me to have a really wonderful mommy? Because God loves me and wants me to be happy?”

“Of course, sweetie.”

“Then why did he put you into grandma’s tummy?”

    1. That’s a good one. I didn’t come up with anything on the spot but what I wanted to say was, “hey, this is nothing. You should see the vicious crocodile where God put your Dad “

    1. It isn’t angst as much as grandma is crying all day long. In public places, she occupies the most visible space and throws a fit. Or she runs away and expects to be looked for and coaxed back.

Clinical narcissism is not something you can conceal. But on the positive side, it has no impact on grandchildren. They see it but it doesn’t destroy them like it does the children.

      1. I hadn’t realized the situation was do obvious. Sorry that you had to put up with such a difficult situation. It’s great that your daughter is growing up in the loving home that you and your partner have created for her.

        1. It’s ok, nobody who has experienced it can imagine it because it’s so grotesque. This is a person who freaked out at her granddaughter’s birthday party, weeping that “it’s unfair that everybody is celebrating her like I don’t matter. How do you think it makes me feel? Nobody is paying any attention to me! It’s all about her!”
