Until the Next Episode

This episode of the Russian civil war is over. Let’s wait for the next one. Each episode is more fun than the preceding one. Belgorod was great but Rostov was better. The episode that finally stars the Chechens will be way cool.

It’s clear that Russia is a civilizational dead-end, and that’s not about to change any time soon.

  1. Yeah, things are definitely escalating within Russia. These last few days Putin and his regime have looked very weak and disorganized.
Like you say, were the Chechens, Belarusians, Gergians, or any other to start a real insurrection these last few days made it clear that Russia does not have the man power to put them down.

Also, from what I’ve see this was not a bloodless insurrection. Several aircraft were shot down and their crew killed. That’s serious.

    1. Yes, several pilots are dead. And the regular troops shot up a civilian vehicle with a peaceful family inside. The family members, including a child, were seriously wounded. But nobody cares because why would they?

Monday will be a holiday and a large concert just started in St Petersburg. That’s not a country, it’s a joke.

          1. I wonder if Putin will really let this stand. I mean Prigozhin going to live in Belarus? I’d suspect he’s going to get hit by a truck or poisoned or something soon.

              1. I assume Prigozhin will land in Belarus, refuel, and then immediately go somewhere else. He has enough intelligence value to get a sweet asylum deal.

    1. This is the first time the app shows me a photo in a comment. How did you do that?

And yes, the tank got stuck in a circus. It took a while so get it out. It’s the perfect metaphor for everything happening in Russia.
