I’d love to get some reading recommendations. I’m currently reading and enjoying Desencajada, which you blogged about. I don’t want great literature, just entertainment, preferably in Spanish-of-Spain (much of my formal education was in New World Spanish). I like about half of Maria Dueñas’s novels (Mision Olvido, El Tiempo Entre Costuras, Sira), and the adult novels of Carlos Ruiz Zafon, if that gives you some idea of what I’m looking for. Spanish is my pre-bed reading language, so I don’t want thrillers or murder mysteries. I suspect that books you’d dismiss as too lightweight might be just my thing, so even brief mentions of books you decided not to read would be helpful!

I wrote a separate post with some recommendations! Always happy to produce lists of books. 🙂 And I’m very glad you like Desencajada!
