Just to think, at this very moment Prigozhin could easily be the president of Russia and the leading candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize. He gave all that up in return for promises from a weaselly, nervous Putin and ended up dead.

Some people are extremely stupid.

I don’t think it was a matter of trusting Putin. It was a matter of being outgunned by the forces rushing to protect Moscow, and Putin being able to threaten whatever key people were thinking of joining Prigozhin. Prigozhin had to back down.

Where he was stupid was in going to Belarus. He should have gone to some country that isn’t friendly to Russia and offered them information in exchange for protection.

    Quite good poem:

    Легенда о поваре
    повар конечно выжил

в последний момент его верный человек
    рискуя жизнью
    позвонил из киевского телефона-автомата

Margarita Simonyan has the best version of Prigozhin’s demise:

This is reaching Fox News levels of stupid. It’s always nice to see other places are afflicted by similar scourge.

This doesn’t even make sense. There was a co-pilot there. Did they both drop dead of a heart attack at the exact same time?

        These people aren’t even trying.
