Back to Mommy

I just received an offer from another publisher for my book. It’s also a great publishing house, and they are super enthusiastic about it. Of course, it had to happen just when I’m ready to sign a contract with somebody else.

The new publisher says they are having spirited debates at the office about the things I say in the book, which is exactly what I wanted.

Being accepted in Ukraine where I felt weird and incapable of fitting in since birth is like suddenly being wanted by the mother who always rejected you.

I’m so happy I could cry. Maybe I will cry.
