On the eve of the 14th anniversary of my exceptionally happy marriage, a social media app is offering me an article on “the joys of being single and how to be adventurous on the dating market.”
Who makes these apps that can’t figure out basic facts about a person?
“who makes…?”
People who profit from loneliness and misery.

Of course it figures out basic facts about a person… how can it try to exploit possible insecurities if it doesnt?
Sending messages about wonderful, adventurous single life to married people is part of a larger strategy to slowly sow doubt and unhappiness about people’s current situations.
A married person will get notices about how wonderful and adventurous single life is while a single person will get messages about spousing up and setting down roots.
All corporate advertising is about making people unhappy with their lives and positioning their product as a cure for that.
