Reason for the Headache

Turns out that my unusual headache wasn’t caused by sitting on a throne while listening to a land acknowledgement. I’d had my blood taken at the doctor’s office earlier today and the nurse put a very tight bandage over the vein. For some reason, it gave me a severe headache. I don’t know medicine, so I have no idea how this works but the moment I managed to pry off the bandage the headache immediately disappeared.

I wish we all knew more about the functioning of the human body. I suffered majorly for hours and had no idea this was because something was squeezing my vein.

Why it is necessary to wrap one in a huge, thick bandage for a tiny needle prick is a mystery.

Free medical advice:
Some people bleed enough from small pricks to get bloodstains on their clothing, so the bandage is a prudent precaution. However, after a few minutes, no further bleeding will occur, so you don’t need to keep the bandage on very long.

  I wanted to remove it during the day but I couldn’t remove it with my bare hands. Of course, if I had known it was cutting off blood supply to my brain, or whatever it was doing, I would have hacked it off with shears.

It could have raised your blood pressure enough to give you a headache, I think.

Israelis face hard and difficult times. Goyim all around us scream quit! Make a cease fire!! But the t’shuva of Israel, WE shall not quit till WE achieve the total unconditional surrender of Hamas and its allies. Just that simple.

That’s weird– I’ve only ever gotten just a band-aid or a bit of tape with a gauze wad under it. Falls off in half an hour anyway. The only time I’ve seen the whole tape-around-the-arm deal is when my husband donates blood, which involves a larger needle and is a longer process.
