The media lies regarding the so-called “border security bill” are at the COVID level. Even after observing what happened during COVID, I am quite stunned by the absolute cynicism of the journalists who say that Republicans are opposed to this bill because they don’t want to let Biden solve the border crisis because then Trump won’t have anything to run on.
The bill would give a hundred Trumps something to run on because all it does is open the border much more and invite more migrants in. Not that the hundred Trumps would do anything to rectify the issue. Because there’s not a single person in US politics or media who wants it solved.
This is hard to write about because these utter cynics are using Ukraine to ram through their open-border legislation. “See? We are offering to solve the border,” they screech. “But Republicans are in thrall to Trump and hate Ukraine, so they prefer to keep the border wide open!” The eye-popping dishonesty of these manipulative statements would be funny if so much weren’t at stake.
The situation is worse than COVID because during COVID we had Alex Berenson and other people who were doing research and uncovering facts. Right now, all I’m seeing is egregious lies from both Left and Right. The Left’s lies are louder because the Left controls the media but that doesn’t make the Right’s lies any less dishonest.
In short, open borders are turning into no borders, and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it.

I’ve yet to meet an open borders advocate (or any leftist) who can answer the questions….

what do you propose to do with them if they get in anyway?
Sulky silence is the inevitable response.
A person who can’t answer that (or refuses to answer that) is a proponent of no borders no matter what else they may say.
