We have removed ourselves to an unpeopled place for a mini-vacation:
It’s not completely unpeopled, to be honest. We came across the owner several times. He used to be in the Secret Service, so it’s impossible to predict where he’s going to crop up.

That sounds amazing, I could really go for that kind of vacation. My ideal vacation right now would be to stay in a simple hotel and bring a bag of books, my writing supplies, my Bluetooth speaker and a bottle of vodka and just read and write with no interruptions or chores or distractions. I may just grab some fast food and maybe an extra bottle but I wouldn’t leave the room otherwise, just get away from people
