Trump is promising to outlaw non-consensual gender surgeries on children. These surgeries are all consensual, so what he really says is that he’ll do absolutely nothing about this issue. Just like he did absolutely nothing about it in his first term. And the voters are so desperate for a savior, they choose not to notice.
It’s the exact same dynamic on the Dem side, so nobody should preen over how much better their candidate is doing.
They are all pissing on us while we smile and say “thank you.” It won’t get better until we grow up and start holding our politicians to account instead of reacting to them like emotional children.

Parents make medical decisions for their children, so it’s their consent that is sought. Let’s not drown the conversation in trivialities before it even begins.

Non-consensual refers to parents not asked or given the option of their permission for minor children to have a sex change operation.

This is a very fantastical situation given that nobody would provide medical services without a permission to treat. Even the smallest medical service requires one.
We are misdirected with these fantasies to conceal the fact that nothing will get done.

I’m in Israel … I do not know. But from the stories I have read or heard, most likely gossip, school boards or some authority take responsibility make a sex change in children without consulting with the childrens’ parents. I do not know if this gossip accurate or simply bunk.

That “sex change” is probably calling them by their “preferred pronouns” and letting them change their clothes to those of the opposite sex rather than taking them for surgery or giving them puberty blockers (I hope).
