Many many years ago, a man I know took his wife and their two little girls on a weekend trip, and they stayed at a Holiday Inn. The elder of the two girls was fascinated by the coin box attached to the bed and asked what it was for. Her parents told her that if you put a quarter in it, the bed would vibrate. Naturally she wanted to give it a try, but they said to wait until bedtime. Later in the day, they happened to run into someone they knew, who asked them what they were doing in [name of city]. The little girl said, “We’re staying at the Holiday Inn, and tonight my mom and dad are going to shake the bed!”
