The Grand Theories of Incels

So many words to explain the existence of low-libido people:

These “incels” are simply low-libido men who don’t know how to process their health issue. If a healthy male under the age of retirement needs some particularly “hot” women to get going, he’s low-libido. Similarly, if a woman in an eligible-male-rich environment like Montreal or NYC just can’t find anybody attractive, she’s low-libido. This doesn’t mean they are bad but simply wired in a certain way that is not the norm.

People would reject the idea of social engineering to remove “inequities” created by simple physiology but when the inequity in their lives is a result of their own physiology, it’s all “let’s immediately engineer away this unpleasant reality by reshuffling society.”

If these perpetually unmatched people look around, they’ll see that everybody is paired up and very happy without dwelling much on which number on the scale of hotness their honey is. Everybody on here who is happily married: did you ever dwell on how your lovey ranks on some scale? I’m betting you never did because you are simply physically healthy. Your desire is switched on without theorizing and pouting because that’s the norm. We’d all be extinct without it.

There’s absolutely no shame in being low-libido or pre-diabetic or near-sighted, etc. What is shameful is to come up with grand theories to hide from your physiology.

In Demand

I’m giving another one of my 5 am talks in a few hours. And I’m on for another talk on Thursday but that one is at the godly hour of 9 am. There’s quite a lot of teaching, writing and translating between the talks but these are the last ones for October, so I’ll just plough through them.

It’s good to be in demand, don’t get me wrong but I honestly can’t wait to go to my conference in November, lock myself in a hotel room and stare at the ceiling for a couple of days.

We’ve Seen This Before

Regarding point 3 on the list, isn’t this exactly the kind of crap that caused the global economic crisis of 2007?

And regarding point 2, isn’t this exactly the kind of crap we saw during COVID and that contributed to the inflation spike?

And aren’t the rest of the points exactly the kind of crap that is swelling our national debt and making the economy unsustainable without an endless massive influx of illegals?

As for cash payments for babies, this was already tried in many countries, specifically in Russia. The result is always that the only people motivated to give birth to receive a cash payment are the dregs of society. They piss away the cash payment on booze and drugs and become a huge drain on society. The only way to get rid of these lumpenlosers is to send them to die in a war.

That surely can’t be the goal, can it?

Every single one of these policies has been tried and tried and tried and never led to anything but misery, impoverishment, and crowds of angry, confused people raging for another handout.

Who’s Absent?

I have a vague feeling that some marginally important category of people is missing from this celebratory post but what is it?

Hmm, a mystery.

Harris’s Plagiarism

The history of plagiarism by Kamala Harris is very long and fascinating. It’s impossible to list all of the currently known examples here but I wanted to mention a really egregious case.

Harris took a fictionalized story about an imaginary prostitute in Washington, DC and copied it almost verbatim, changing only the location to pretend that this was a real event in California:

In Harris’s retelling, “Kelly” became a real person rescued from pimps in San Francisco. It’s truly bizarre that an Attorney General would steal fictional material and present the events in it as her achievement.

Nobody accidentally misspells Washington as San Francisco. This isn’t simply plagiarism. This is intentional misleading of the worst caliber. And again, this is one of a very large number of examples.

The Despicable Austin

Words can’t express how much I despise these people. Ukraine went from being the world’s third largest nuclear power to having to beg for ammunition because your country spent 30 years and tons of money disarming it, you stupid fuck.

Minimum Wage Hike in Practice

Since the Illinois minimum wage hike went into effect, we’ve been raising the hourly wage for our lab workers in one-dollar increments. Obviously, nobody gave us more money to enable us to pay the higher wage. So we fired half of the workers. And cut lab hours for the existing ones.

It was exactly what I predicted when the law was first passed. I don’t take much credit because a blind monkey in a stupor could have predicted this.

I also predicted that COVID closures would be catastrophic for higher ed. People scoffed into my face back then but now everybody keeps saying, “God, this is catastrophic.” Yes, shocking. If only anybody could have predicted this.

Mocking the Victims

I don’t understand, are they doing this on purpose? Are they trying to mock the victims of the hurricane?

I watched three times and I don’t get it. Why would anybody at a government agency think it’s a good look to make a mockery of the results of a natural catastrophe?

One fails to watch the news for 3 days, and already things become incomprehensible.

I ❤️ Americans

You gotta love Americans. Wonderful, kind people. I had to make a left turn across three lines of very dense traffic that went on for as far as eyes could see. I thought I’d be stuck there for half an hour but guess what? I didn’t wait for even 10 seconds. All three lines immediately stopped and gave way. Nobody honked, nobody was an asshole. These are tired people who are coming home from work all the way from STL, and the highway sucks ass at this moment. Yet nobody was irritable or mean.

Every time this happens, I’m touched almost to tears. Such great people. Such an incredible country.

Successful Personality

The kind of personality that is the most successful in the current economic system combines a highly focused, controlled, disciplined and regimented side with an audacious, risk-taking, mercurial and independent bent. Somebody who accepts no disciplining from an outside authority but has a very deep source of inner discipline.

Usually, the mercurial, bold and dynamic idea-generator and the patient, focused plodder are two different people. It’s combining the two such contradictory personalities into one that’s difficult and rare.
