Bernie Sanders suddenly woke up and noticed reality:

It’s strange he’s only figuring this out now, after spending two election cycles pandering to his party’s race-baiting and DEI-mongering with every ounce of his energy.

Yes, Democrats became the party of wealthy primadonnas who despise the working classes. This happened twenty years ago and has only been getting worse. It’s now a party that calls working people nasty names for not wanting to refer to themselves as Latinxs and not believing in pronouns. It’s a party where multi-millionaires weep about how they are victimized by the proles whose skin color somehow makes them unfairly advantaged. It’s a party whose official line is that squirrels, water and butter are racist. Is it surprising that people are abandoning it in droves after hearing nothing but humiliating, hectoring, guilt-inducing rants for years?

So yes, hi, Bernie. Good to see you’ve come out of your hibernation but it’s a little too late.

    In my lifetime I’ve witnessed a complete inversion of the democratic party. The current iteration of the party loves the FBI/CIA, loves big corporations, loves wars, loves big money in politics, loves censorship, and loves the rich. Completely unrecognizable from the party that I first encountered when I came to this country.

    But people are so attached to labels, they didn’t even bother noticing all of this.

    Also, fuck Bernie. His job has always been to shepherd the young/radical left back into the democratic party fold. His presence allowed young people to feel less embarrassed about voting for the same party as their MSNBC/CNN-watching brainwashed parents. This is why it didn’t seem to bother him that he was shat upon by his party time and time again. He knew his assignment.

    The 2024 US presidential election saw Donald Trump secure an unexpected majority in the popular vote, control of the Senate, and at least 295 electoral college votes, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris.

    The legacy media Pravda press ignores the Biden Administrations’ use of the courts to arrest Trump. The invasion of the private home of a former President. Court acceptance of slander that mirrored the tactics employed by Christine Blasey Ford, the psychology professor, who accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of rape. Two assassination attempts to murder Trump.

    Democratic leaders from Pelosi to Obama have denounced Trump. They condemn his remarks about using military force against political opponents as not mere bluster; calling Trump political rhetoric: a chilling desire to subvert the principles that underpin the US government. The Democratic Party machine has slandered Trump with projections by which the Party in Power treated the Trump opposition. Democrat projectionism condemns the Trump rhetoric – dissenters as “enemies”. The Party in power justifies its many and multiple attacks upon Trump saying that Trump sets the stage for a divided nation where political opponents become treated as threats to be crushed rather than fellow citizens engaged in the democratic process.

    Following Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 election, mainstream media outlets have largely emotional dissatisfaction; mainstream media’s reaction to Donald Trump’s 2024 victory and the broader political and ideological divide in the United States. With some yokels warning that a Trump 2nd term poses a serious risk to democratic norms and American institutions, despite the clear democratic victory! Many MSM figures resemble the United Nations condemnations of Israel. They despise his “so-called” authoritarian-style rhetoric, his intention to reshape the federal bureaucracy, and his stance on divisive issues like immigration, reproductive rights, and international alliances.

    Media commentary suggests that Trump’s re-election could result in profound shifts in U.S. domestic policy, international relations, and the judiciary, with heightened concerns about democracy’s resilience. MSM reflects a deep partisan perspective and contributes to the polarized political climate that has so fractured and promoted hatred of Americans against Americans. My how the mighty have fallen and how quickly they change their tune when the Democrats fall from power. CNN particularly critical, has focused on the implications of Trump’s win for international relations and U.S. democracy.​ The UK papers were dominated by Trump’s victory, with The Guardian leading with the headline “American Dread”, a play on the American dream.

    The MSM’s reaction is characterized by intense emotional dissatisfaction and ideological opposition. This isn’t simply disagreement over policy; it’s a deep-seated aversion to Trump himself and his perceived threat to democratic norms and institutions. The tone is often alarmist, framing his victory as a potential disaster for the country. This is evident in headlines like “American Dread,” the use of strong emotional language, and the frequent comparisons to authoritarian figures. The MSM of bias and double standards. It argues that the intensity of the negative reaction is disproportionate, pointing to the swift shift in tone from some media figures when the political tides change.

    In the case of NBC individuals like Rachel Maddow discussing alleged political matters or reporting, even on contested topics like “Russiagate,” the First Amendment provides broad protections for freedom of speech and the press. Seth Meyers often uses humor to critique Donald Trump by framing his actions and personality in distorted, moralistic perversions. This form of comedic framing, compares to comic strip pictures. It allows Meyers to satirically distance himself, presenting his judgment as one based on “widely accepted standards” rather than personal bias. Utter nonsense. The technique comic strip picture perversions through comedic word distortions, he and other late-night hosts often employ to engage their audiences with crude humor while conveying their hate views and extreme opposition to Trump’s behavior and character.

    Colbert’s reaction on The Late Show to Trump’s victory expressed exasperation! His monologue underscores a mix of disbelief and weariness, as he jokes about his “I Am Questioning My Fundamental Belief in the Goodness of Humanity” sticker. This line conveys his disillusionment, suggesting that the outcome has shaken his optimism about people in general. This kind of commentary highlights an emotional troll, that vehemently opposed to any and everything Trump. It views his re-election as a setback for American democracy.

    Jimmy Kimmel expressed emotional fatigue and personal rejection of the US democracy. His comparison of Trump to the Emperor from Star Wars—“He’s old, he’s evil, and he keeps coming back with no reasonable explanation whatsoever”—was a scathing, “comedic” way to highlight the enduring presence of Trump in the political spotlight, likening him to a villainous, unstoppable force.

    The mainstream media’s response to Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory, reflects a profound emotional and ideological dissatisfaction. Many media outlets, particularly those with left-leaning or liberal views, have expressed deep concern, such as his stance on immigration and reproductive rights, which has fueled fears that his second term could mark a dangerous shift in U.S. governance. Such reactions reflect a double standard, especially when considering how quickly these same figures have adapted their rhetoric when the political tides shift.

    Their failure to address issues falls before ad hominem personal name calling. As did the Harris people who referred to Trump and his supporters as Nazi Fascist garbage. The Supreme Court post Roe vs. Wade has returned the abortion issue back to the States based upon the Commerce Clause of the US Constitution. The woman’s suffrage 19th Amendment has nothing to do with the right of the States to bureaucratically manage and regulate trade and commerce inside each and every state making the Republic. The Framers of the Constitution never envisioned such a post Civil War huge Big Brother Federal bureaucracy with its incestuous links to Federally established Corporate monopolies like the Federal Reserve Central Bank.

    The mainstream media’s emotional dissatisfaction following Trump’s re-election is undeniable, particularly from outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and other liberal-leaning media. The legacy Pravda press media significant worries in regard to what it pompously describes through the political rhetoric nonsense as “an erosion of democratic norms”. A concealed snide reference to a gradual decline or deterioration of democratic institutions, norms, and practices within a political system. 

    In the past, the death of a democracy was often a dramatic event—an authoritarian leader overthrowing an elected government through a coup. This erosion process is incremental and episodic. It often maintains a veneer of democracy while hollowing out its substance. The Trump campaign argues that the Federal bureaucracy has undermined the three Branches of Constitutional governance. Non elected bureaucrats ignore and openly lie to Congressional overwatch Committees with complete impunity.

    Political scientists Daniel Ziblatt and Steven Levitsky put it, “The electoral road to breakdown is dangerously deceptive.” It’s essential to recognize that post Civil War democratic decline has prevailed by the Federal Government stripping the power of the State Legislatures to appoint Senators to Congress. The loss of the power of State legislatures to appoint Federal Senators to Congress has resulted in a radical alignment between the Corporate monopolies investment in US elections. These “democratically elected” Senators now owe their loyalty to Corporate monopolies and the rich and powerful rather than to the State Legislatures. Throughout history, aspects of America’s governing institutions have faced criticism as being anti-democratic or threatening civil liberties. Hence hostile Corporate Media outlets, vocally critical of Trump during his first term, have tended to double down on their positions, framing his policies and rhetoric as authoritarian and dangerous. President Trump argues that under his leadership America can reverse this decline by restoring States Rights to bureaucratically regulate State trade and commerce without an Big Brother Federal “carpet bagger” bureaucrats.

    Trump has called for reducing the role of federal bureaucrats and regulations across economic sectors. He frames all regulatory cuts as an economic magic wand. He pledges precipitous drops in U.S. households’ utility bills by removing obstacles to fossil fuel production, including opening all federal lands for exploration. Trump has called for making it easier to fire federal workers by classifying thousands of them as being outside civil service protections.

    Trump has argued that the Federal bureaucracy has undermined the three Branches of Constitutional governance. Non-elected bureaucrats ignore and openly lie to Congressional oversight Committees with complete impunity.

    The core of the MSM Pravda press media’s response, characterized by deep emotional dissatisfaction and ideological opposition. This is expressed through various forms: Outlets openly criticized Trump’s policies (immigration, reproductive rights), rhetoric (described as authoritarian), and potential impact on domestic and international affairs. Late-night hosts like Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert used humor and satire to express their disapproval, often employing techniques that framed Trump’s actions in a negative light. Jimmy Kimmel’s comparison to a Star Wars villain exemplifies this approach.

    I tried reading the insufferable Bernie Sanders’s communiqué but I had to give up after a few lines: my brain simply refuses to engage with a fourth-rate, intellectually sub-par nitwit who, to boot, is one of the greatest hypocrites on earth. Gave up after too much ache.

      At least, he’s not saying that the Harris campaign was flawless and the loss is a result of Americans being racist-sexist, which is the current narrative of the rest of the Dems. Bernie’s statement is quite refreshing given that the rest of the party isn’t showing any signs of being willing to assume responsibility.

        It’s certainly good and true to say, but Bernie never says this stuff when it matters or when it’s risky for him, and even now he sticks to safe Bernie territory. Meanwhile, many people in the party are willing to actually offend the woke left

          Not to mention in 2020 he abandoned his 2016 platform that called open borders an explicit Koch Brothers plan to fuck over american workers. That part completely vanished from his rhetoric.

          He had twice his 2016 campaign budget in 2020 but had worse results across the board. Before he accuses the Dems of being out of touch with the working class, he should look in the mirror.
