Advice: asking people why they don’t want to date you is stupid. You can’t “work on” a certain person not finding you attractive. She’s just not that into you, that’s all. And given how verbose she is, that’s clearly a blessing. Imagine receiving these sheets of text 20 times a day.
It’s the equivalent of “but why did he, why did he, why did he?”
Who cares why? How will it help to know why? It’s done, it’s over. Try to be active, not reactive.

Exactly, he’s probably already written off Miss Aura McDiversitypants and is hoping she can give him a tip or two on how to make some lucky lady the future Mrs Allwhiteplaylist… though I think she is, as the Brits like to say, also sort of taking the piss…. she “loved” that he played his guitar and showed her his “playlist”… If this were the 1980s she’d be telling him how cool his mix-tape was….
This is fake.
Nobody switches into “I got rejected so let me get feedback from my interviewer” after a date.
And this answer is equally preposterous. What does she think words mean?
Do playlists have the same meaning as mixtapes and cd mixes did back in the day? B/c I think people only really made them for friends or people they wanted to bone.
Streaming playlists don’t take the same amount of effort and the free versions of the service like to insert random crap into them, which ruins the effect.
She didn’t dig your guitar playing, dude.

Actually, it happens about 98% of the time that people insist on an explanation when you don’t want to continue seeing them. Always bugged me to death.
The answer might absolutely be fake, I agree.

What strikes me as weird is the language used — for a first date.
I’d never ask in that way. I’d never give an answer using language like that.
Would it be weird or as offensive if she had said, “It looks like we have very different values?” Because that’s a valid reason to not continue seeing a person and to not waste their time.
