Again, Israel

And once again, the answer in the comments is overwhelmingly Israel.

  1. Just a guess, but I’d say Russia and Iran absolutely nothing. China though has a really bad habit of buying our politicians and using them to push laws that bleed the US. Israel is very similar to China in that it has a ridiculous amount of clout amongst the US leadership and academia and has used that influence to push for not so great stuff over the decades. To be fair though their influence seems to be drying up even as China’s influence is growing. That is a danger to the constitution as our so called leaders are being influenced by foreign powers to make or change laws effecting US citizens. The title of the questionnaire though really could have been worded better though.

Quite frankly the fact that any of our so called political elite are allowed to have duel citizenship, or be able to take bribes from lobbyists is nuts. I don’t care if its China, Israel, or Great Britain. All of it needs to come to an end across the board.

Post Note: It is really hard to tell which is Government sanctioned influence operations and which is being done by extremely wealthy individuals. When you can’t tell people tend to lump it all in together. Either way none of it is good. And before anyone gets irate about my words, I would like to point out over the millennia depending upon the time and circumstances nearly every nation has done similar things.

Take the Opium Wars in China. The national policy of Great Britain at the time was to push opium to the Chinese people. There was a deliberate policy to get them hooked on opium of which they controlled the flow. This policy not only gave Britain a huge source of income, but it also destabilized China allowing British and British allied control over the areas they cared about.

I highly suspect the more nationalistic Chinese were quite concerned about the actions of the British at the time. Similarly we in America today (well those paying attention) are quite concerned about things like George Soros pumping tens possibly hundreds of millions of dollars into getting a massive number of leftist leaning judges appointed all over the country. Or the fact that literal Chinese spies have been caught as mistresses to several politicians. Might I remind the audience that under rule of law, Spies are to be hung. Not only were these spies not executed, but the politicians sleeping with them were allowed to keep their jobs.

There is quite a lot going on that is extremely concerning and somehow nothing is being done about. No investigations, no jail time, nothing. So yea I consider countries that have unusually high amounts of influence in our government to be a bit of an issue. And both China and Israel qualify.

  2. Probably trolls, probably also due to the huge influence the Israeli lobby has in Washington. I myself am not comfortable with a foreign lobbying arm having so much power over our politicians; no other country has this much influence.

Remotely related, but anyone else just find Elon Musk so creepy and annoying tagging along everywhere with Trump. I mean, what’s his end game? Seems he basically bought his way in, anybody get an icky feel about this? Gets tiring seeing his ugly mug everywhere now:

      1. Musk is not the one who censored information about COVID, censored the truth about the BLM and banned my account twice on Twitter for anti-Russian statements. True anti-Russian statements, may I add. I can’t be scandalized about Musk’s expression of his beliefs after several billionaires in the recent past censored my expression of my beliefs.
