We are expecting a snow storm and a cold spell. And I don’t mean Midwestern cold which is a bit fresher than scorching heat. It’s going to be cold even according to my exacting standards. -22°C is what’s being promised by the weather service, and I hope it won’t disappoint.
The lines at the grocery store today were Soviet length but filled with typical American goodwill and kindness. I bought Jerusalem artichokes and 3 different kinds of milk, and we are now ready to enjoy real winter.
