I brought my pink artificial fur because the weather app said it’s cold in Germany. It occupies half of my suitcase. But it’s very warm here. Huge yellow flowers are growing outdoors.
Weather forecasts have not been my friend recently. It’s +26°C at home, and I felt like a total idjit packing the fur. I now feel like a worse idjit. I’m also wearing my winter ankle boots and thick tights, sweating like a stuck pig.
People outside are dressed for the winter in spite of the flowers in bloom.
“weather app said it’s cold in Germany”
Last week or so where I am has been beautiful weather, sunny, highs from 15-17, not too much wind. Supposed to get a bit colder now with highers closer to 10 or so for the next week (and some intermittent rain).
But weather changes frequently here so…. who knows?

OK, this helps. Maybe I’ll get a chance to sport the pink fur yet.
The train to Hamburg is late which confirms by opinion about the famous German railroads.

“the weather app said”
Some years go (cell phones but pre weather apps) I was making a work related trip to the Netherlands in July.
In Poland it was around 30C every day and so I packed similar clothes only to find out that the weather was a good ten degrees or more chillier. I wasn’t too too cold but I stood out everywhere in short sleeved shirts and no jacket (who needs a jacket in July?)
