Did not say the world did not change with the American and French revolutions which introduced ‘citizen rights’, as expressed through the 1789 US Constitution.
Said that the USSR threat to Western Europe ceased to exist in 1991 with the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Warsaw Pact collapsed.

I second V07’s question. I support Israel but the sacrifices we are making right now, at this moment for its sake look very excessive to me.
