If that is so, then why are “British nationalist leaders” or “American nationalists” not good?
What if the reasoning is the same as when comparing Russian and Ukrainian nationalism? The nationalism of larger and more powerful nations is more dangerous (to their neighbors and internal national minorities, and in extreme cases – to the whole world) than nationalism of smaller and weaker nations…

What is Belgium larger than? Which is its strength? Or the Dutch? Yet the Dutch nationalism receives the same opprobrium as the British.

Also, I really need to see the person who said something positive about Ukrainian nationalism. That would be a rare person to find outside of Ukraine.

After independence, all the nearby African nationalist states allied against SA and Rhodesia. This was a particular problem for Rhodesia, since their nearest ports are in Mozambique.

Yes, good point. It’s not every African nationalism that’s acceptable.

Rhodesia wasn’t “African” nationalism but “white African” nationalism. A small difference if you were looking.
