I don’t want to be that person but I’m starting to think that Trump is posting angry messages about Elon again to conceal that the BBB is a dud and had all of the juicy parts stripped out of it.

That’s not conspiracy. That’s just how Trump operates: release some gossipy, weird thing that MSM will lose their minds over nonstop for an entire news cycle, to keep whatever other thing out of the news.

Shoot, that’s how he got elected! All he had to do was say something, anything, slightly inaccurate, a little bit dumb, a wee bit bombastic or controversial… and MSM would give him free wall-to-wall marketing coverage for a week. Why would he abandon that strategy if it’s still working for him?
Literally all he has to do to gum up the news pipeline for days is say something weird, inappropriate, or just offensive to PMC sensibilities, at an official appearance with press and foreign dignitaries. Because the blue side is so consumed by the appearance of gentility (with none of the substance of it), that this stuff is like throwing a tennis ball for a pack of dogs. They cannot help themselves, they just go chasing after it.
