I wouldn’t. Not for any principled reason but because it’s boring.
I agree with Matt, though, that for people without a strong sense of self and those with narcissistic injuries this will be both irresistible and damaging.
AI will mean more stratification and more people trapped in a favela of body and mind.

Me three, I often have running conversations with myself and I think a lot of people do. The AI about talking to oneself sounds completely dystopian, I would hate it since it’s boring but for a narcissistic person or someone with mental illness, it would make their condition worse. I would rather use my alone thinking time to come up with story ideas or mentally compare different bands or movies than be stuck in this endless cycle of narcissism
For people with a weak sense of self, looking at somebody perform their self is very reassuring. It can have an absolutely narcotic effect. But for people who are confident in themselves, this kind of pastime is utterly incomprehensible.
I agree completely that alone thinking time is precious and inviting a robot into it is a very stupid idea.
