Ukrainians have agreed to every single peace deal proposed since Trump got elected. Every single one. But guess why there’s still no peace?
Hmm, I guess you can’t be peaceful on somebody else’s behalf. After endless negotiations, Russia tanks every single one of the peace deals. After which the Trump administration proceeds to create another peace deal. Which once again is tanked by Russia. The many identical loops of this process, however, are not pushing the Trump administration towards any realizations.
What do I want Trump to do, you’ll ask?
I want the administration to pass at least one piece of legislation that will improve life in our country. I can think of long lists of legislative acts that would be of great help. To Americans.
In less than a year, Republicans will most certainly lose the Congress. This means, there will be no useful legislation coming out for years. We need the coming 12 months to be a legislative extravaganza. A whole year has already been wasted. Let’s not waste even more.
I don’t think my position is unreasonable.

Yes, there are a few things that could and really should be legislated e.g., pressure to publicly penalize both the hiring of illegal aliens and of the businesses purchasing multiple single houses for rental purposes. Both activities clearly damage the general public, so any open resistance by either side would cost that party the mid term.

That’s a great one. A ban on puberty blockers would be a great idea. An elimination of TPS visa status in its entirety. An elimination of the green card lottery in its entirety.

The no businesses buying homes and renting them out is such an easy one. A great majority of people would be behind that, both Republicans and Democrats. The fact that this has not happened shows how both parties are ultimately in the hands of rich private interests that stand to lose a lot of money.

Am I incorrect that legislation even if passing the house has no chance in the senate? Or do we have enough senate votes already. Would The filibuster not Allow passage without 60 votes?

Use the Bully Pulpit, take no prisoners, publicly shame the dirty buggers — name names, ID both the companies and their chief officers. Be cruel but be fair, be so truthful that they cannot sue. Change minds, the legislation will follow ;-D
