The new priest texted me to ask if there is gender propaganda in public schools in Illinois.
I’m a little baffled by the magnitude of the task of how to compress it all into a text message.

“Yes, lots. It varies only by the degree of the nihilistic reality-denying degeneracy, or by the gloss placed on it. For example, younger cohorts are given rainbow-unicorn innocence treatment, mid-grades yse social justice, and high schools use a pseudo-scientific psychological justification.”

Doesn’t “gender propaganda” of various types exist in all schools in America? Everybody is exposed to it and survives — what’s the big deal?

In Illinois it’s really bad. Children get taught starting in kindergarten that “doctors often make a mistake when determining if a newborn is a boy or a girl. It’s your job to decide your gender. Only you know what it is at any given moment.”
Almost everybody survives, yes, but many parents don’t want to subject their children to this. We are paying for a private Christian school for our child to avoid this.

Dang. Is the parish in a position to either help them homeschool, or offer an education stipend for the kids to go to a private school?

If his salary doesn’t let him send 2 kids to Klara’s school, he should not move here, imo.
I would be honest and explain why you sent your daughter to a private school and how much it costs.
