I truly despair sometimes. If you reached the age of adulthood and you haven’t figured out that you can’t turn a Venezuelan into either a German or an Afghani no matter what you do because humans are physical beings, then that’s just sad.

If the Ayatollah regime falls without any military incursions from the US, wouldn’t that be great? I can understand being opposed to US military involvement but what’s wrong with achieving this goal with zero shots fired?

You and I think so, but a lot on the left and right (horseshoe thing) are suddenly very invested in Iran, probably not least because of its partnership with russia in its mission to kill Ukrainians…
Meanwhile at least one study/poll found a majority of Iranians (or younger Iranians) no longer consider themselves muslim in any meaningful way…
Are they the grandchildren of those that ushered in the mullahs?
