What was it I keep saying about the nation-state and welfare?

Most people have absolutely no idea that non-citizens receive preferential housing, banking, state business loans, and so on and on and on.

      1. I learned about an even better one this morning:

        Individual Development Accounts.

        The stated purpose of the program is to help immigrants learn to use the banking system.

        What it does is, uses government money to set immigrants up with bank accounts, and then — wait for it– makes matching dollar-for-dollar deposits for every dollar the immigrant earns and puts in the bank.

        Effectively: all those jobs “Americans don’t want”– immigrants want them because they are being paid twice as much for them, at the expense of the public.

        We meet all the qualifications for this program, btw, *except* for having been in the country less than five years. This is explicitly, unarguably, directly setting up illegals to displace working-class Americans.

        2. Thank you so much, my friend. You always bring information that I can use in my shows. People have no idea about any of this. We keep hearing the talking lines about how Americans just don’t want these jobs. Now we are finally discovering why.

          And yes, as SB said, at least we got this out of the administration. At least, now we know more. That’s a gain.

  2. The only good thing that has come out of this administration is information like this. Every other day we get some news about something like “Non-citizens barred from possessing nuclear missile launch codes” and we’re like wait what? They were allowed to do that??

  3. a few years ago a friend with a food truck told me that they have to compete with illegals who got special deals like grants to buy food trucks, and don’t have to follow the same costly regulations they have. It was shocking.

    1. Exactly. They’re doing the same jobs as the working class. But they can get SBA loans they don’t have to pay back, free healthcare, they qualify for paycheck-matching grants through the Individual Development Accounts program, there are NGOs that set them up with cars, they get help buying and renting houses…

      How are we supposed to compete?

      1. It’s also good that the left in Spain and France has now proceeded to the stage of saying openly that yes, the goal is to replace the native population, in those very words. At least, we don’t have to explain that replacement theory is not a conspiracy.
