At the exact same time as cars are being turned into surveillance devices in the US, it happens in the EU:
Who is really governing us if such synchronicity is in evidence?
Also, the rhetoric of deep, unresolvable conflicts between EU countries and the US that we’ve been hearing recently seems to exist in order to conceal the synchronicity of the establishment of a surveillance state.
My 2019 Subaru Forester Touring has this driver monitoring camera and beeps when I turn my head to the side for a second too long, and the screen says “Keep your eyes on the road”. At the same time, it may beep and tell me the same thing when I do look straight ahead. This happens in early fall when sun hits my front window at a certain angle and I’m wearing sunglasses. This is a known bug in Foresters of that year. Very annoying.

At least it doesn’t force your car to pull over and shut down, which is what the newer tech is promising…

It tried to stop twice now when I drive by the house on my street that has For Sale sign. It thinks I’m running into it even though I’m nowhere near it. I hate it when a car tells me what to do. I inherited the car from my parents, but even they did not expect it to be so intrusive.
