Peak Woke

I deeply dislike the expression “peak woke.” It suggests that the heights of wokestry are behind us. We can now look at them as a quaint memory from the past and share a chuckle over them.

None of that is true. Not only have we not reached a peak, we haven’t even gotten anything but the smallest taste. People are complacent, although there is zero evidence that the organizers and the participants of the ideological wave that hit us in the year 2020 have changed their minds or even mellowed out a bit.

  1. Can confirm, both from within blue hive city-folk, and from those in and around academia, the which add that to their functional retardery.

    SJWs always double down.

    1. They have learned nothing whatsoever. It’s funny because these are the people who endlessly lecture everybody on the importance of being intellectually agile, yet they are utterly incapable of processing any information beyond the pleasing slogans.

There is a positive side to all of this. They are likely to run Kamala Harris again, which is excellent news.

  2. Agreed, they seem to be trying to double down on the ridiculous diversity is not only wonderful, but necessary, nonsense โ€” largely an assortment of thoughtless weak “sneaky-fucker” males and aging feminasties. Both groups so braindead that they do not even notice that the refugees from war torn Ukraine were ~80% women and children while the grifters from the Middle East and Africa are ~80% young males. Ethnic diversity can indeed often be a positive, but cultural diversity is suicidal.

    1. What I am seeing a lot of lately are arguments *for* diversity that, if you take them seriously, are actually arguments for re-segregation. It’s… really really weird.

Like, my parents’ generation did civil rights, integrated the schools, got rid of separate-but-equal and housing and business discrimination.

All that was based around a basic philosophy of “we’re all human and we all deserve to be judged on our merit and behavior rather than our looks and family background”

Recent rhetoric from both right and left seems determined to unravel that, which is alarming.
