Trump ended up helping the Ukrainian war effort yet again by signing the Iran peace deal at this precise moment. Oil prices are dropping off a cliff just as Russia loses one of its main oil refineries. And also, of course, by removing the longstanding American opposition to Ukrainian long-range strikes into Russian territory. What we saw today, and yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that, we could have seen in 2022, 2023, 2024. We started seeing it only in 2025.
I have zero interest in whether Trump meant it or didn’t mean it. It’s impossible to know what’s in anybody’s head. Only the results matter. I’m liking these results.

Trump is not doing anything to help Ukraine. His capitulation to Iran was about saving his own neck since gas prices were about to go exponential because as he himself said it we were about to run dry. But whatever, kudos to him for at least figuring it out that shit was gonna hit the fan of he kept this up.
Seconds, Ukraine is attacking deep inside Russia with its own weapons. And Biden had already authorized strikes using American weapons, which Ukraine doesn’t really need as much anymore.
I fail to see the “huge” help Trump did to Ukraine, but id it makes you feel better about his poor leadership, sure. Lets thank him for not dragging us all the way to the bottom, just a bit above it

But yes, absolutely, Biden forbade strikes on Russia with Ukraine’s own weapons. In particular, he forbade strikes with any weapons on oil refining facilities. Ask AI, Google it, there’s a mountain of information about that. Biden thwarted Ukraine at every turn, destroyed the 2023 counter-offensive. He was an absolute scourge on Ukraine. The moment he’s gone, things dramatically turned around. It’s okay not to know this, but it’s strange to argue on the subject with somebody who is living this very intensely in the way that I do.

I don’t understand how people even explain this to themselves. Were the drones that are destroying the Russian oil refineries daily invented in January of 2025? Well, no, they weren’t. Why were these strikes not happening before Trump was inaugurated? If you’re going to make the argument that this is not about the change in administration, you have to have some narrative to explain this. Was there a major scientific breakthrough right when Trump got elected? We all know that that’s not true. We all know that these cheap drones were available throughout. Then what caused such an enormous change? There’s got to be something. What was it?

I literally talked to a person who was part of the many delegations back in 2023 who went to Washington for a meeting with Biden to beg him to allow these strikes. It’s really weird to be told that what I know happened did not happen.

Trump had nothing to do with Ukraine developing it’s own drone strike capability, that was entirely on Ukraine. I don’t understand how you can attribute Ukraine’s recent gains to Trump when he did jack shit just like Biden to get them to where they are today.
Trump has been bad on Ukraine, possibly just as bad as Biden. Ukrainian coming ahead is their own doing along with massive financial help from Europe.

Like I said, Trump has been disastrous on Ukraine just the same as Biden. Both fucking suck.
The Ukrainians ended up having to make their own long strike capability, and it’s working fabulously, but that’s not because Trump, that’s despite Trump constantly trying to throw Ukraine under the bus to put a quick end to the war in Putin’s favor.

Apparently, while the entire left was totally in favor of the .gov pressuring media platforms to censor, as long as it was the right that was being censored… because Trump went after Jimmy Kimmel, now we can have a bipartisan bill proposing to end, and penalize, attempts by the government to pressure media platforms into censoring.

Seriously: can we just use this strategy on EVERY egregious violation the Ds have engaged in over the last ten years? Like, instead of trying to secure the borders with half of congress and most of the bureaucracy in opposition, why not just… declare that we’re seeking to MAXIMIZE asylum immigration of Nigerian Christians, white South Africans, British ethnic natives who’ve been harassed for speech violations, Scandinavians, persecuted Copts (my cousin married one, and she’s lovely), S. Koreans seeking to have families… there’d be a bipartisan bill for shutting down mass immigration within the week!
What could we do to get Voter ID and clean election procedures? Cheat egregiously in a few red districts? Like 100% of the vote in a few places? Do the F-curve infinite counting thing, but in favor of Republicans?
How about homeless/drug enforcement? Can we try making it illegal for HOAs to keep anybody out? Gated communities can’t discriminate against tent camps? Public transit *must* go to *all* the suburbs??
