There is a growing trend of young Midwestern girls who desperately want the most traditional, stereotypical masculinity in their partner, as well as a wedding in a white dress and a bunch of kids, so they hook up with a trans man because nobody will put as much effort into performing the stereotypes of masculinity as a girl posing as a guy. A boy of their age is going to do the Ethelred the Unready thing until he’s 35, while a 22-year-old girl posing as a boy will propose eagerly and readily.

This is a funny idea but I have never heard of this in my life and know no examples of this whatsoever. Younger transmission people tend to still be feminine.

Oh, they look extremely feminine! For some inexplicable reason, it’s always the girly girls and the burly men who do the trans thing. Butch girls and effeminate boys seem to be almost entirely unaffected by the desire to pose as the opposite sex. These girls still look very feminine, although often with beards and horrid skin problems as a result of these trans procedures. I’m not talking about appearance, but about pattern of behavior. They offer engagements, a wedding, and to be a provider. The young men who are offering this, at the age of 20-22, are not exactly thick on the ground.

I am surprised the traditional Midwestern girls can mold (or ignore?) their sexual orientation this much. Just the thought of doing it ….
May be, they are like women in previous generations who married good providers w/o sexual attraction. Still, they take it a huge step further, going for the same gender.

These are twenty year olds. Not having to engage with a penis is a relief at that age.
The sexuality of a 20-year-old woman is mostly one thing: to cuddle together on the couch. A transgender partner will have zero libido and will offer exactly that, cuddling together on the couch. After puberty blockers and all the rest of it, the trans person is not going to be doing much sexual activity at any point in time.

In this phenomenon lies the answer to why women today delay marriage so much. They are told that love is insane lust, of which they are physiologically not capable before giving birth or until they are in their mid-30s.
This is a topic that, for some reason, gets people as upset as criticizing pills, so I don’t even know why I mentioned it.

Women. And it’s everywhere in movies, popular culture, everywhere. We don’t talk about the innate differences in male and female sexuality, and the results are not great. Every time I try to bring this up, in any of its dimensions, people get extremely upset. Women delay marriage because nobody told them that their sexuality is not like men’s. I think it’s stupid, but what do I care? If everybody wants to live in this fantasy, it’s their funeral.

All things being equal, the sexual need of an 18-year-old male is going to be stratospherically higher than that of an 18-year-old female. Of course, they are outliers, but I’m talking about the statistical mean. The 18-year-old female realizes that she does not feel the constant need to have sex with her 18-year-old boyfriend that he has towards her, so she concludes that he is not the right guy for her, that she doesn’t really love him. In reality, she is physiologically incapable of experiencing what he does at this age. She will after giving birth or after hitting age 35. She sits there until age 35, waiting for what she thinks is true love but what, in reality, is her body entering into a specifically female stage of life.

Well Kid, if it is a fantasy, it is bleak, apocalyptic feminist dystopia. There are major differences between the sexes, basically men have 20-30 times the testosterone. And thus, many times the sexual drive of even ovulating women, even in later years when estrogenic decline finally unmasks female testosterone levels. There is good reason why all the love songs are written by men and boys, and for those people who “get extremely upset” about that reality, might I suggest offering ;-D

LOL, Kid, I did not mean to be obnoxious, but I oy tend to take science, insight, knowledge serious. Social “science” has been questionable from the beginning, frankly largely because of the individuals involved — e.g., both Mead and Kinsey were sexually outliers.
And the problem with any sexual findings for the majority of us our own sample is too small to rationally discuss any questionable conclusions. Do you remember the public outrage when a reputable published Canadian government study reported some absolutely ghastly percentage of sexual abuse of children that turned out to be the result of curious small children “playing doctor” ;-D
