The Latin people were the conquerors, not the conquered. Neither John nor Leguizamo are Aztec names.

Of course, being a Hollywood star means you are obligated to be a clinical moron but has this “conquered Latin person” looked in the mirror?

It wasn’t remotely 500,000 tons of gold either that Leguizamos ancestors took from the Indians of the New World. It was a lot less.

It’s not a big deal when the silly starlet does it, but the entire Mexican politics has existed for decades on the foundation of very white Europeans claiming to be the descendants of the Aztecs and robbing the country blind in the present to make up for imaginary crimes of the past.

I hate this dumb fuck bastard who goes around calling himself Latin when he’s a crappy actor who’s only famous for being annoying and rubbing everyone’s faces about how Latin he is, the only good movie he did was Super Mario Brothers. This idea that Latin America is a mess because of greedy Spaniards is laughable, Latin America has always been a mess.

Spain might have subjugated the Aztecs and Inca, but these were hardly utopian societies and the Spaniards got a lot of help from other tribes who were sick of subjugation. That dude looks mostly white and actually looks whiter than a lot of Italians and Sicilians I’ve seen growing up in New Jersey, and the latter are considered white. This nonsense is why I identify as an American of Spanish descent, my family were only in Cuba for about 20 years and we were Spanish far longer than we were Cuban

FYI, Super Mario Brothers was a cheesy, terrible film about the video game that came out in 1993 and bombed at the box office, it’s a guilty pleasure film of mine and unintentionally hilarious with bad acting and awful special effects
