Wow, what a game! The referee completely unfairly ejected an Argentinian player with a red card. The player had been a total pest throughout the entire game and finally got on the referee’s nerves.

Spain dominated the whole game but couldn’t get a goal in because Argentina has a very strong goalie.

We are now going into extra time. Or whatever it’s called in English. I’m watching in Spanish, which makes sense with two Hispanic teams.

Back when I was learning the language, I thought that it was unimaginable that one day I would be able to listen to sports commentators in Spanish and understand them. Sports commentators are notoriously hard to follow if you’re not a native speaker.
