Another Example

Another example of what I discussed in the previous post:

When my Dad was in hospice, during the Covid bullshit, I was once stopped by a doctor in the hallway who berated me for my mask not completely covering my nose, for a solid two minutes. . .

There’s not a day that goes by, that I don’t think about tracking that shithead down, and destroying him.

For the doctor to berate her “for a solid two minutes,” she had to stand there listening to him berate her for that period of time. If she decided to stand there and listen meekly to something that she found unwelcome, that is completely on her.

The story is probably completely fake, but please note that an adult person thinks that this is a cute anecdote to post about herself. People invent stories that portray them as passive and weak because they believe that this will enhance their social image.

I feel the same when people make long twitter threads about how shocked and appalled they are by something the AI they constantly use did. “I tried to used AI to fact check my substack post, and it conjured up fake facts! Deep dive here! ChatGPT exposed!” There’s always this smug and triumphant tone to these posts, but my only takeaway ends up being that this person is very into their AI. It’s like a couple that enjoys fighting. I don’t want to say that AI users can’t point out flaws in the technology, hopefully you know what I’m talking about.
