After a short interlude of being able to go outside, walk, wear normal clothes, and enjoy outdoors activities, we are returning to extreme heat warnings, sweat-drenched outfits, second-degree burns from accidentally touching a car seat belt buckle, and the realization that we probably won’t be able to crack a window open until November.

You should move out west to Arizona. The desert humidity here is so low that you’ll never break out a sweat even when the sidewalks are melting.

OT: the holdout juror, now doxxed, is taking defensive PR measures:

I hope he sells the rights to his story at least to defeat some of the costs of all this. Poor guy, imagine being in that situation.

It’s also funny how easily black people are thrown under the bus when it’s convenient. The liberal oppression Olympics is hard to figure out because who knew that a rich white lady would suddenly come ahead of a black guy.

Yeah, race trumps everything else… right up until a minority disagrees with the progressive party line. Gotta keep em on the plantation I guess.

LOL, surely you jest, sure one could become a twofer or even a threefer if you were a disabled black woman, but MC/UMC women have always been the primary beneficiary of the Oppression Olympics since at least the Johnson administration. Now a poverty stricken, black Republican, not only divorcing an illegal Haitian, but stubbornly refusing to bow to his female betters…well now, that poor bugger is definitely holding the shit end of the stick with both hands ;-D

The brave black dude is now a hero world over. This is from Argentina but I’ve also seen posts in support of him in Spain, Ukraine and France.

Kid, I did not say that he lacked courage. But we both know that the herd intended to force change legislation, and his insistence on understanding the horror of killing innocent children spoiled that attempt…for now.

Yes, for now. Good luck finding another jury for a retrial. At least, the prosecutors now know to select more black people. This madness seems entirely a white people phenomenon.

I’m clearly not white enough because I don’t get it.
