But when a student wrote that it belonged to the group called “Languages of Love”, that was kind of too much.

Hmm. Now I am beginning to wonder why this student is taking your course.

That is just outrageous. Portuguese and Italian are the languages of love. Castillian is so ugly by comparison. What is lovely about sticking your tongue out between your teeth in the midst of professing your passion for another?
