I’m talking on Skype to my psychoanalyst who is in Canada.
Analyst: So are you following the election?
Me: Yes, of course! I can’t wait for it to be over because the suspense is killing me.
Analyst: Yes, I know! A friend of mine just went over there to work as an observer.
Me: Ah, that’s cool!
Analyst: She says it’s a beautiful country. Just fascinating. It’s sad that more people don’t care what happens there.
Me (thinking): He is messing with my head! What is he on about?
Analyst: She is staying in a small town close to Kiev.
Me: I’m sorry, what are you talking about?
Analyst (probably thinking): Jeez, she’s crazier than I thought. (Saying aloud): The elections! The elections in Ukraine.
Me: Oh, Ukraine! I’m so over that. Ukraine is hopeless, so I don’t follow what happens there. It’s the important election I’m following. The one in the US!
Analyst: Oh, that election!
Me: Yes! The good guys really need to win this one.
Analyst: Sure. The good guys being. . .?
Me: Well, the ones who are the good ones, obviously.
Troubling…

One thing I really hope for is that we will not end up with the 2000 Florida situation on our hands. That was a total debacle.

Romnet can’t win without Florida AND Ohio.

But again, I predict a very close battle, and I think Romney will prevail.
I hope than I will be wrong, and there’s many path to Obama’s victory, though.

I have no doubt Romney will win Florida. But not Ohio.

And if he will not win Ohio, Obama will win it all.

Here’s my commentary on elections, comparing Zim in 2010 with how Americans see their right to vote:
