Also, entirely off-topic, but I found this an interesting albeit very short read on the subject of the current conception of terrorism as rational costs-vs-benefits attempt at achieving political change versus a newly-proposed model of terrorism as method of creating a sense of belonging among the socially marginalized. http://www.wired.com/politics/security/commentary/securitymatters/2008/10/securitymatters_1002 .
