I downloaded the What to Expect app and it automatically subscribed me to daily emails from What to Expect bullies. Each email has a scary title like “Swollen Feet”, “Heartburn”, “Tooth Loss.” What is more likely to enhance a pregnancy than to wake up to an email reminding you of everything that is likely to go wrong?
As for my own symptoms, on top of every single one I’ve had before, I now started sprouting gray hairs. This means that I need to contemplate coloring my hair and that’s very scary. I love my natural hair color because every strand is colored differently. But the natural color has chosen to abandon me.
I will arrive at childbirth as an ancient old wreck: toothless, gray-haired, diabetic, and apoplectic. People will tell me my grandson is very cute.
There’s a history of premature greyness in my family, and I’m already finding a few grey hairs on my 18 year old head. Forgive me if I find it hard to sympathise. π

Somebody I know just told me had had started losing hair when he was 19 and went completely bald by 25. I now feel really about complaining over this. π

GREAT grandson! (you should answer)

Every hair will still be coloured differently. It’s just that some of those hairs will be in shades of grey. Don’t worry about it, with your hair colour they probably won’t even be visible unless someone *really* stares.

Well I don’t know if this helps any….but I love to color my hair. I think of it as a makeup for my head! π Anyway, dye looks different depending on hair shade. So if you hair is naturally a lot of different shades, it will continue to be a lot of different shades–tjust with the dye over them. Does that make sense?
Also, grey hair tends to dye really vibrantly. I have a few grey hairs and when I color my hair, the (formerly) grey hairs look really intense and beautiful. Not to convince you to color your hair or anything. I’m sure your hair is beautiful. But dye doesn’t make your hair uniform. π

Thank you, dear friend! I guess it’s just the first time that is scary. I’m also completely lost on which color to choose.
But then there will be new photos to post, so that’s good. π

Don’t worry, the baby cuteness will provide amnesia for all of these experiences shortly after birth π

A bit of grey can be quite sophisticated.

My mom had a full head of grey hair when my sister was born. She was 33 years old, and everyone thought my sister was her granddaughter. She started dying her hair because of that and never stopped. My sister is 27 now.
I wanted to dye my hair when I was pregnant with me second baby. That was when I started going grey (at age 33!). I was told not to dye my hair while pregnant because of the chemicals. Maybe check with your doc before doing anything.

Yes, I need to find out if it’s safe! I kind of want to get my body back already. It was nice to be able to do what I wants to it.

My hair has begun turning a bit grey ever since the insertion of the Mirena — the unnatural menopause. Good, I say.
