So what do you call a person who tries to console me by giving me a gift of – among other things – soap that features on its wrapper a picture of a bouncing baby boy and the brand name of “My Baby”?
Honestly, sometimes even the most robust psychological health might fail one.

I am astonded. Sometimes people mean well and are just so flumoxed when comfronted with grief and tragedy that they act stupidly.I am sorry…….. On that note, is there anything us readers can do? Can we contribute to an Amazon account or anything? I have been reading your blog for so long and commenting so often that I really feel like I know you and I’m so truly sad for your loss. Actually, this has been a question in the back channels. My thought was that a bunch of silly or bland, polite gifts would not do it. I do not know that we can come up with the cash but I was thinking of something more along the lines of the Eric N. endowed scholarship, you know? Work with me on this, Clarissa and people, I am all ears.
