Subject and Object

N finds it hilarious that he’s listed as “Subject” on the mortgage paperwork. We are now trying to figure out whether I’m an object of time, place, or circumstance.

  1. I always feel sorry for posts that no one comments on (I’m a huge anthropomorphizer).

Anywaaaaaaayyyyy your terminology is off, objects are direct (lo, la) or indirect (le) (think Mexican, with no leismo)

Time, place, manner and circumstance are indicated by adverb(ials). I prefer adverbial to distinguish them from adverbs (some of which can be adverbials).

    whoooff, I feel better now.
