“Mmmm, sausage!” I thought when I saw the following photo on Facebook.

sausage

The discussion of the photo on Facebook revealed to me, however, that this is ice-cream.

  1. Sorry to ask my friend, but in what culture is that sausage. You know I’m from a country where sausages abound, but just thinking that could be sausage somewhere upsets my stomach! Haha!

    1. Ah, this is why you are not a Ukrainian person. EVERYTHING reminds us of a sausage. I see a flower or a book, and think, “Mmm, sausage. . .” 🙂

      1. If you go to an seen-better-days midwestern restaurant that has lots of older folks taking advantage of early bird specials, the salad bar will probably have a bowl of granular pink glop. That’s the ham salad. I can’t with a clear conscience say that it’s a good thing to eat, but I have a peculiar nostalgic fondness for it.
