I’m preparing an observed class on Evo Morales. I was going to present Morales in a mostly positive light but then I read that Morales is saying that what is happening in Ukraine is a result of the aggression on the part of the US.
And now I’m disappointed with Morales and don’t even want to mention this fool in my class.

It’s disheartening but I would still try to cut him a little slack.
Would you expect an Uzbeck leader to understand the history behind Bolivia losing it’s access to the sea because of a Chilean landgrab?
You could try to make the point that whatever his virtues he doesn’t understand the world beyond his continent (like most leaders of most countries).

The goal of the post is to let me get this out of my system before class. 🙂 I will not bringing my resentment about Ukraine into a lecture on Bolivia.
