So I decided to come out of hiding and start commenting more on people’s blog. This plan didn’t work out, though, because Blogger refuses to let me comment with my WordPress ID, and signing out of my work gmail in order to sign into my private gmail every time I want to comment is too much trouble.
Blogger hates WordPress because so many of its bloggers migrate to WordPress. I’m guessing this is Blogger’s little revenge.
This is why I chose wordpress when I started my blog – I hated the google inability to comment. I like that wordpress allows you to type in any identity. But it does make leaving comments on blogger blogs hard, because not only is it a pain in the rear (as you’ve said), I never manage to remember what I’ve commented on which post, and I can’t subscribe to see replies in my email! Anyway, just joining the grumble-fest

Most modern browsers support more than one profile 🙂 You could just add your private account too.

I know but I’m afraid I’ll start getting confused because I’m doing too many things at the same time anyway.

I found your blog by following you back from a comment you had posted on another blog. I think it was Hugo Schwyzer’s. (Hmm, maybe I shouldn’t admit this.) So I think it’s good you are commenting again.

And I’m very glad you followed! You always ask brilliant questions and I greatly appreciate you as a reader.

There is a trick for keeping two gmail accounts open at the same time. Just open one with one browser (say Firefox) and another with another (Chrome or Seamonkey or [shudder] Internet Explorer.)

But even WordPress nags me to sign up for Google+
