I have to say, I’m glad Germany trounced Brazil like it did. Obvious favorites annoy me and, besides, if a Spanish-speaking country is not playing, then I will root for Europe.

Seems a litle like kicking a team when they’re down. But then Germany rarely does things half way (for better and for worse).
I’m still rooting for Nederland against La Argentina (before they get steamrolled by German efficiency probably).

I am rooting for Argentina. They are good. They’d deserve this. Also out of spite for the Dutch.
