Total Degeneracy

Ah, I’m seeing that the French freaks are also opposed to schools promoting the idea of gender equality. The degeneracy of the French seems irreversible.

  1. Can you post a link to either of the French stories? I love so many things about France and this breaks my heart. I just would love to read the stories. 🙂

  2. \\ surrogate motherhood, for both hetero and homosexual couples, remains illegal in France […] The government vows it has no plans to change this status quo, with Prime Minister Manuel Valls Friday describing surrogate motherhood as “an intolerable commercialisation of human beings and commodification of women’s bodies”.

Do you think surrogate motherhood should be permitted?

    I found that in Israel:

“Only infertile heterosexual couples can use a surrogate mother in Israel. […] In 2014, domestic surrogacy may undergo radical changes, opening surrogacy to singles and same-sex couples, raising the maximum ages of all parties, and allowing married women to act as surrogates, if the reforms proposed by the Mor Yosef Committee and endorsed by Health Minister Yael German become law. These reforms are the result of New Family’s legal actions and advocacy over a decade.”

I think those changes to the law are a great idea, if the law passes.

      – No, and it isn’t. These people are marching because they hate gays and women, that’s all.

  3. // Furthermore, medically assisted reproduction, such as in vitro fertilization, is only available for heterosexual couples who have been married for at least two years. […] “We want it written into the constitution that surrogacy and medically assisted reproduction are banned, both in France and for French citizens abroad.”

I am surprised somebody wants medically assisted reproduction to be banned. Even Haredi Jews in Israel use it (but there are some restrictions, one can see them at the site I linked)… OK, now I have seen the word “Catholic” in the article and they are against it.

In Israel, because of being extremely child-centered society, Holocaust and worries about remaining a majority in own nation state, there would be no such demonstrations against assisted reproduction. ( Israel provides state-subsidized in vitro fertilization for single women too. Until recently it was to the age of 45, now there are some restrictions because of costs and falling chances after ~40 (?). )

There could be demonstrations against gay marriage and ‘Children told they can choose their sex.’ Btw, I am unsure that being against telling children one could choose one’s gender is exactly the same as being against gender equality. It is very anti-gay, of course. But those people wouldn’t go on the street and say “we are against telling girls they can choose any job and even become a PM”. It’s homophobia, not being against equal rights for (straight) women per se. I mean, I am sure they are against gay men too, it’s not women-specific. One could say that feminism includes gay rights in practice, but does it have to be so in theory? Imo, those are two different movements.

I do believe people, who are moved to be against XYZ because of religion, “hate women.” But without the gay angle, they wouldn’t march, imo.

  5. Even in this article titled “Muslims join Paris protest against gender equality drive in schools”, you see that for them “gender equality” = “becoming gay,” not “working and successful women.”

“I am opposed to gender theory lessons in schools, I am opposed to same-sex marriage,” he said. “We are in the process of destroying the fundamentals of French life.

“Gender theory will screw up our children. They are telling them that ‘maybe you are a boy but you also have a bit of girl in you, and it’s up to you to choose your sex.

      – That’s hatred of women, pure and simple. A boy might discover he is not that different from a girl, the horror, the horror. Stupid, disgusting freaks.

  6. What happened to the French people? I really would look forward to a world where people stood up tall and stood for rational things, as well as fairness justice and equality.

  7. As good a place as any for this. During my recent extremely pleasant and computerless time in Greece the hotel only had a few channels and the news was basically CNN and BBC (international versions) and I thought I might lose my mind. There was also RT but I knew better than get sucked down that spider hole (except for Max Keiser who’s funny and who I mostly like). Compared with the rest the minimalist format of Euronews seemed like a relief.

I’m normally not bothered by traditional media and even include some in my normal intake but only having mainstream media was just so freaking awful that I wanted to throw something through the screen.

It once more drove home just how rare and precious (and fragile) internet information from dozens or hundreds of different sources is.

In other news, Russians have now discovered Greece. I don’t remember noticing any a few years ago that last time i was there. Now there are Russian signs everywhere (including Russian language notices in the hotel restaurant that food should not be taken out and drinks should not be brought in).

      – I know! I’ve been watching the CNN, and every time I feel getting progressively dumber with every minute of viewing. I keep waiting for the punchline because it’s hard to believe people are saying such stupid things in earnest but there never is a punchline.

      – I would have never managed to make sense of what is happening in Ukraine if I watched only the TV news from Ukraine and Russia.
