I rely on the predictable movement of the sun to provide me light each day and on the predictable movement of the moon to provide ideal fishing conditions. Also I have been known to stay up late to see some phenomena assocated with the movement of the planets.

Also, of course, if Venus or Jupiter is too prominent in the dark sky, and I happen to be driving towards it, it may distract me and endanger me or others.
