I came to campus without makeup on my day off to make theater reservations (we are going to dinner theater!), pick up books, do some organizational stuff, etc and have already had to repeat “I’m not a student, I’m a faculty member” four times. I’m taking that as a good sign.

Got “carded” for a liquor purchase whilst in the States …
Apparently the shop’s policy was that they were to “card” anyone who looks “under thirty-five”, which is a bit amusing since I’m closer to fifty than thirty-five.
Find it amusing while it lasts, I say … 🙂
