As an Israeli citizen, I am glad to receive support from all directions. Have too numerous enemies to turn away potential friends because of ideological ‘impurity.’
Was very glad to see:
US Congress passes anti-BDS legislation, key trade bill
Amendments in approved bill call on Europe to reject BDS in exchange for free trade; measure is first legislation in Congress in four decades to push back against boycotts against Israel.

Azar is a jerk. His support brings no honor to anybody. To me, he symbolizes everything that sucks about Spain.

Anzar is the most amusing prime minister Spain has ever had… Who can beat that moustache and quotes like “I speak Catalan in intimate circles”, “Spain is going well”, “it was ETA”, and the whole Bush Anzar circus show

“trying to empty the country of Jews” if true would be very counter-productive for the BDS movement. Having more places were Jews are unwelcome seems like something that would lend Israel legitimacy, rather than taking it away.

Yes. But Aznar is not known as somebody who is capable of thinking logically.

It is the BDS movement who is incapable of thinking logically, if you believe their proclaimed goals, not Aznar.
The BDS members f.e. frightened shops into taking off kosher food from shelves, when this food had zero connection to Israel. Many pro-Palestinian people make all Jews unwelcome, not only those from Israel.

We all know I don’t support the BDS and find it bizarre. But I support Aznar even less. People just believe me, when I talk about Spain I know what I’m talking about, Aznar is an idiot.

I believe you about Aznar, even though I don’t know anything about the man. 🙂

Wasn’t he the one with the pornstache? And was he the one who repeated everything he said several times? He repeated things several times. Repeated. Several times. He repeated things.

Remembered something regarding logic:
A German court in the city of Wuppertal convicted two German Palestinians on Thursday of an arson attack on a Synagogue but denied the crime was motivated by anti-Semitism […] The judge’s ruling “[stated] that the goal of the attack was to bring ‘attention to the Gaza conflict.’”
http://www.thetower.org/1626-german-court-rules-that-firebomb-of-synagogue-was-not-motivated-by-anti-semitism/
Is attacking European Jews logical, if one really wishes to bring attention to Gaza? After attacks in France, more French Jews than ever immigrate to Israel.
Even if Israel isn’t the safest place (in reality rather than imagination), it’s the only place where Jews are ready to protect themselves with weapons in hand and where nobody will say attacking synagogues is political activism.

The arsonists were tried and convicted, weren’t they? The Dyllan Roof judge also said something quite stupid, but the important thing is that he didn’t let Roof out on bail or anything like that.
