Trumpazoids

Speaking at Saturday’s pro-refugee demonstration, Corbyn told the crowds: “Surely, our objective ought to be peaceful solutions to the problems of this world. To spend our resources on helping people not injuring people. “To try to bring back that world of decency, human rights and justice.”

Back from where, exactly? When in history did “that world” exist?

God, where do these Trumpazoids come from in such numbers?

“Trumpazoid” is my new term for idiot politicians who promise easy-peasy recipes that will take us all to some prelapsarian happy past that never existed. Of course, they have always existed but I only just now came up with a term for them. I have no idea who this Corbyn fellow is but he sounds like a right fool.

      1. To the folks who downarrowed me, I’m sure more gender segregation is coming to the UK and it will be from the left.

They’re incapable of criticizing any aspect of non-western culture and will end up adopting them out of misguided solidarity.

        1. Not only will women be thrown under the bus of the insane Liberal guilt towards everybody but the actually oppressed, but we will be thrown there self-righteously.

        2. Why were you downvoted? You expressed a very honest and serious concern.

In the US, it’s been made clear as day that many on the Left do not care much for the concerns of minorities–see the attacks on Obama that skirt and then madly cross the line into racism, and the lack of concern about the assault on voting rights.

From what I’ve read about Corbyn, he’s bad news.

Actually, he’s a LEFT fool — the extremely left-wing leader of the British Labour Party. Among other ideas, he’d like to take the UK out of NATO.

    1. The labels of right and left are losing their meaning these days. Today, both extremes are occupied by people who seek easy popularity through offering snappy soundbites that the stupid confuse with solutions. We all saw how easily Syriza in Greece forged an alliance with Golden Dawn.

It’s not about left and right any longer. It’s about selling the illusion that obe can check out of the complexities of modern life.

Not really. The extremists on both ends of the political spectrum are equally crazy, but in power, the way they would act out would have vastly different consequences, with a completely different set of victims.
