Microaggressions

Russians broadcast Obama’s speech at the UN General Assembly with this really effeminate, affected male voice speaking with an accent that Russian-speakers identify as pissy and elitist and delivering the translation of the speech in a way that drowned out Obama’s actual voice.

The U.N. used to have Russian translators in-house for all major speeches and proceedings, as least when I was a child.

Somebody should revive the old samidatz tradition in Russia but claim to be Russian Communists who are sure that Putin is an Israeli operative who has taken the country to the brink of disaster.

- Substitute “Communists” with “religious nationalists” and you’ve got a great plan. 🙂 Russia’s Communist Party has, unfortunately, discredited itself as being sponsored, maintained and controlled by the Kremlin.
