Developments in Syria

Russian air force and troops in Syria finally managed to create a corridor that will give Hezbollah access to the Israeli and Jordan borders. The King of Jordan and Netanyahu are apoplectic.

Abdallah, the King of Jordan, wrote to Putin asking him to stop helping Hezbollah. Putin didn’t answer but Assad did, telling Jordanians to prepare to suffer.

Of course, Russia has been financing Hezbollah since the moment of its creation in the hopes of using the organization to destabilize Middle East.

  1. At least the Israelis will fight back hard and effectively if attacked. It would be beyond ironic if Israel and Jordan were forced to become military allies fighting on the same side!

    1. The Syrian peace talks are a total farce. The anti-Assad forces will never negotiate with the Assad regime, and Assad says he won’t step down unless his party is defeated in a democratic election!

It amazes me that John Kerry can stand in front of international microphones and utter his delusional nonsense with such a sincere smile. The scary thing is that he apparently actually believes what he’s saying. No wonder the Israeli government holds him in complete contempt.

At least Obama, I think, is smart enough to know that his foreign policy is a total disaster, and all he wants to do is run out the clock.
